Corona related travel advice:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all international travel that is not strictly necessary. This is the strictest travel advice that can be given. Limited leisure travel is still a good measure to prevent transmission.

The Government will close the border to foreign nationals who lack a residence permit in Norway. They will be turned away at the border under provisions of a Norwegian law relating to the control of communicable diseases. Temporary entry and exit controls will also be introduced at the internal Schengen border.

This means that our facilities will be closed for foreign nationals who lack a residence permit in Norway until further notice.

In the area around Naverfjorden there are several campsites next to each other, but Kjærstranda in the middle has the best beach and swimming area. We have season pitches for guests who will be here throughout the season that lasts from May 1st. to September 1st. In addition, we we offer pitces for visiting guests as well as several camping cabins for rent.

The resort has its own playground for the little ones as well as modern toilett / shower fasilities and summer shop and beachfront dining. We also have washing machines and dryers for rent.

Kjærstranda characterized by the natural growth of trees and shrubs are cleared away. If there is an obstacle to placement of caravans and accessories, we want to preserve as much as possible of the nature around us.

We have our own marina behind a solid breakwater built of huge boulders. Here it is possible to rent space for small boats.

The Kjærstranda card

Is now installed on doors and in showers in our facility-builings. The card shall be used as keycard and payment in the showers. Some older showers in the upper facilitybuiling will be operated by 10 kr coinmachines for some time. The Card will be issued to each guest, and all visits will be recorded on our computer.
